How we make this style.
Fully waterproof versions use PU- or PVC-coated polyester with high-frequency welded seams so water can't wick through stitch holes; water-resistant versions use coated cotton or DWR-treated fabric for lighter splash protection. Wipe-clean, quick-drying, with adjustable buckle necks and the option of a chest pocket sealed against ingress. Chemical-resistant grades available for lab and processing use.

Waterproof aprons — common questions.
Fully waterproof or water-resistant — what's the difference?
Fully waterproof aprons use a PU/PVC coating with welded seams so no water passes through, suited to dishwashing and fishmongers. Water-resistant (DWR or waxed) sheds splashes but isn't sealed — lighter and more breathable.
Are the seams sealed?
On fully waterproof aprons we use high-frequency welded seams so water can't wick through needle holes. Tell us the application and we spec the right seam construction.
Do you offer chemical-resistant aprons?
Yes — a chemical-resistant coated grade is available for laboratory, cleaning and food-processing use. Share the chemicals involved and we recommend the coating.
